Our Team
Mounds View Speech has been building an exemplary tradition of individual and team competitive excellence as well as team unity and integrity. We are a substantial and cohesive community consisiting of speech team members, staff and volunteer coaches and judges, a committed parent task force, and parent volunteers.
Our Mission Statement
Mounds View Speech Team is committed to building an inclusive team of dedicated and excelling public speakers who are personally growing, continually improving, and always supporting one another.
Our Team Goals
- To make finals in at least 10 categories at every MSHSL meet.
- To finish in the top two at every MSHSL meet.
- To respectuflly support our team members at every meet and honor the effors and acheivements of our competition at every meet.
- To have 39 speakers compete at the Section Tournament.
- To become Section 5AA champions.
- To advance at least 15 people to the State Tournament.
- To have each person on the team develop at least 2 new frindships.
